STEP #1:

MAKE SURE YOUR CAN IS CLEAN:

Rinse the can thoroughly in order to have it as clean as possible. Once its clean you can start to modify it depending on the porject you are going to work on.

CREATE YOUR PROJECT

Turn your can into a planter or even a lamp. Creativity is your ally; do what seems to you like a good idea. Everything will be taken into account for the winner.
